On the actual 50th anniversary of
Joining, January 9 2017 was also a Monday as it was in 1967. Graham and Don met at a local pub in
Brisbane and had a beer to celebrate. Coincidentially we had both enlisted in Melbourne at
Queens Rd St Kilda and Graham was the first person I spoke to while we were
waiting for something to happen that day. Then on Friday we were able to recruit a few more and
we were able to enjoy a full day having a few beers, lunch and a lot of
stories at the Transcontinental in Brisbane |
